Servicing & Maintenance

Standard & Safety Service
Safety Check:  £35+ Parts
Brakes checked (new pads fitted if required). Gears checked & re-aligned.
Cranks checked and correctly tightened to recommended torque.
Tyres checked and inflated correctly (replaced if required).
Seat post, Headset and handlebar assembly checked.
Standard Service:  £70+ Parts
As Safety check plus the following…
Seat post removed, cleaned, re-fitted with grease or carbon assembly grease.
Remove crank set, chain & cassette. De-greased using the RoZone Eco Smartwasher then refitted or replaced if worn.
Wheels trued.
Intensive & Full Service
INTENSIVE SERVICE:  £105+ Parts
As Standard service plus the following…
Headset removed and serviced or replaced if worn.
Complete drive system removal including crank set, pedals, bottom bracket, chain, cassette and both derailleurs. De-greased using the RoZone Eco Smartwasher then refitted or replaced if worn.
Bottom bracket removed and serviced or replaced if worn.
Frame wiped down and inspected for damage.
THE FULL MONTY:   £150+ Parts
As Intensive service plus the following…
Bike completely stripped down to bare frame. Frame wiped down and inspected for damage or cracks.
Wheel hubs stripped down and re-greased.
Bar Tape replacement labour included (plus cost of bar tape).
Cables, inner & outer, replacement labour included (plus cost of cables).

This is good for nearly new or bikes that have had little use. 

Brakes checked (new pads fitted if required).

Gears checked, tuned & re-aligned.

STANDARD/ANNUAL SERVICE (Most popular service)

As Safety check plus the following…

Seat post removed, cleaned, re-fitted with grease or carbon assembly grease.

Remove crank set, chain & cassette. De-greased using the RoZone Eco Smartwasher then refitted or replaced if worn.

Bottom bracket & wheel bearings checked.

Bike cleaned.

** extra labour may be added for internal hidden cables routed through the headset bearing area.

* There are extra charges for mountain bikes that require shock servicing and/or suspension bearings serviced*

***E-bike policy, due to safety issues only e-bikes from reputable retailers will be serviced or repaired by Cycle Wizard. This is on advice from the Fire Service due to the fire risks associated with cheaper e-bikes & bikes converted to be an e-bike***
